Bible Verse: Romans 9:21

The scripture for our guide today is Romans 9:21 - Does not the potter have the right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special occasions and another for common use?

The scripture above conclude that it is the same Potter and the same clay texture but decided to mold out some pots for everyday use while some pots are manufactured for special occasion, the big question remain, why the different grading from the same clay composition?

There may be many pupils in a class but a class captain is separated and chosen based on attributes that are not common among the pupils, the ability to stand out by our fruit as the bible says that by our fruits (deeds) we will be known (see Matthew 7:16) is highly expected in the life of a child of God.

People feel comfortable when tested hands are at the wheels, the word "tested" is what separate those that have stood the period of God's evaluation from those that ran away from being evaluated; we all know we can not be christian by word but by deed.

We are the powerful secret tools that the master have chosen to penetrate areas that are yet to receive christ and help sustain the gospel in areas that have been reached for christ but has Jesus said; can the blind lead the blind (see Luke 6:39), so as to avoid many falling into pits, there is need to authenticate our standing with the Lord.

Of what good will it be if we are here on earth but not ready or willing to comply to the wish of the master, we aere not just created in his image but also in his likeness (see Genesis 5:1), being in the likeness of something means being able to fill the void when what we resemble is not around, this is a challenge that we have to grow into the trust God has for us.

Many aspect of the gospel have been dodge especially the area that will make the pastor less popular but for us to grow into whom God created us to be, there is need for the complete gospel to be preached, the more we gather to only merry the more the possibility of the risk of not facing the truth that a day of authentication that we are not ready to be concious of will still manifest somehow in heaven (see Hebrews 9:27)

If we are to be honest and ask if the Lord Jesus should show-up today, to test our standings and run it through God's standard, what can a christian that fall short of a good result do?

Apostle Paul said in his epistle that not that he is perfect yet but he is pursuing God more (see Philippians 3:12), He used the word "Press on", which simply mean to be searching for more of God, to set our mind and heart on how we can be filled with more of God.

God's standard is high but the bible advice that we be Holy as God is Holy (see Matthew 5:48), the holiness in this narrative is to be blameless and faultless as Jesus lived a life that pushed the accusers of his time to a place where it was difficult to fault him

Many have predisted that on the day of reckoning there shall be many surprises, but we can be wise and manage the rsik well by doing the will of the master while on earth, as much as there is no partiality with God, we can finish the race and avoid the word "I don't know you" (see Matthew 7:23)

This is a wake up call for us all as children of God regardless of our title or what we do in the fold of christ, we should know that working for God should not be used to bribe him over our shortcoming but a true and genuine heart the Lord will not despise (See psalm 51:17)

Group Discusion

(1). If we find ourself below God standard, what can we do?
(2). If the full gospel is not preached, what are the consequences?
(3). If we avoid authentication here on earth, can we avoid it in heaven?
(4). How can we cultivate the likeness of God's culture if we were created in his likeness

Thanks for being part of today's Milk & Bone, I pray that as we strive to be as Holy as our Lord and God is Holy (1 Peter 1:16), we will continue to be God's delight here on earth in Jesus name, amen.
