Bible Verse: Genesis 1:27

The bible is clear about the nature of humanity that we carry the replica of God's appearance.
That we carry the image of God may not be limited to appearance alone, it will do well to know that the word of God expect that we cultivate God's character, Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48), Be imitators of God, therefore, as beloved children (Ephesians 5:1).

The world is in a place that need a higher intervention and the church (believers) is one of the channel of hope that God want to use to heal the world, but are we well informed as the people of his pasture about the true nature of God's unchanging characteristics?.

The bible said there was war in heaven (Revelations 12:7) but yet God was unchanging, let us look at how Jesus carried out the message that was given to him to deliver to humanity in an hostile environment similar to the one we still find ourselves today.

Jesus & God's Image

Jesus was faced with hopelessness and an unpleasant situation at the tomb of Lazarus, So when Jesus came, He found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb four days (John 11:17) the situation was not the type that anyone will want to be in, but one of the remarkable things we can take from the experience was that Jesus refused to allow the situation on ground to change the message of hope he brought.

Jesus was cautious of the image of God he carries and what he represent just like you and I here on earth today.
It is certain that we will be faced with situation that will cause us to want to deny or misrepresent God as his living amabassadors in our dispensation,
from paying thr right bus fare, falsifying arrival or departure time at work, putting bogus time on time-sheet, telling others that we are praying for them when we are not, bearing false withness against others, all these but to mention a few are there to take over the image we carry and rubbish what God want to do through us

It will do us a lot of good if we can look up to Jesus whenever we are confronted with situation of life that seek to drain our christian faith because no matter how odd the situation may be, God's grace is always there to help us overcome.
